Should I get tested?

It is recommended you get tested if you develop any major COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, tiredness, dry cough or loss of taste or smell.

Other minor symptoms to watch out for include shortness of breath, aches, sore throat, diarrhea, nausea and a runny nose.
You should also consider getting tested if you have been in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case.

 

Our Tests

We have a PCR swab test which is 97% accurate. The results are available within 24 hours and if necessary it can be expedited to approximately 6 hours. We also have blood antibody tests which can test for past or current infection. We can send a home saliva testing kit out if you have any symptoms as we will not allow symptomatic individuals to enter our clinic.

 

Government Testing Scheme for COVID-19

On November 3, the government announced that Hong Kong citizens who need to prove their health status could sign up for COVID-19 screening at a cost of HK$240 at government community testing centers. The scheme has been launched and you can for booking an appointment on https://www.communitytest.gov.hk/en/. Results usually take 3 days.

 

Free COVID-19 testing is also offered for teachers and staff in public schools and kindergartens.
