Rosacea - Visible Capillaries - Redness - Veins

How does it work?

A combination of one or two laser wavelengths will be used when treating vascular conditions such as Rosacea, diffused redness and visible capillaries.

The highly absorbed 532nm and 1064nm wavelengths were designed to specifically target vascular disorders by coagulating and collapsing veins whilst dispersing surrounding redness.

This is why the Excel V Laser is known as the gold-standard laser treatment.

What can I expect in my treatment?

A typical Excel V treatment takes less than half an hour. Usually topical anesthetic is not needed for this gentle procedure. You simply feel warmth as the handpiece is passed over the treatment area, and possibly a slight stinging sensation as light pulses enter the skin. Then skin is cleansed, cooled with ice packs, and protected with sunscreen.

How many treatments does it take to remove broken capillaries?

The amount of treatments needed will vary, depending on the amount of broken capillaries.

Individual broken capillaries and cherry angiomas can sometimes be treated within just 1 - 2 treatments.

How many treatments do I need for rosacea?

Rosacea is a chronic condition, meaning it can be triggered and flare up at any point. We recommend monthly treatments for rosacea to help you manage your flare ups, understand your triggers and control it better.

There is no cure for rosacea, however treatment does help significantly reduce the appearance and avoid your rosacea from flaring up as often.
