What to expect during a botox treatment
Our doctors will discuss your facial expression line concerns and recommend a treatment approach. You will be given the option of numbing cream to reduce pain.
The botox will be injected using a very fine needle into the specific muscles that cause your lines and wrinkles. The amount will be personalised to each individual’s muscle strength and movement.
What to expect after your treatment
The results will start to show in a few days and it will be fully effective within 7 days.
The effects of Botox lasts between 3 to 6 months
Risks and side effects
Side effects are rare and usually mild and temporary. The most common are temporary redness and bruising at the site of injection.
Rarely asymmetry of expression or eyelid drooping can occur, these side effects are minimised by using an experienced and trained injector.
