Women’s Health and Hormones
Women’s health is a branch of medicine that focuses on the treatment and diagnosis of diseases and conditions that affect a woman’s physical and emotional well-being. We can deal with all common women’s health issues from early teens onwards. Our doctors are knowledgeable about hormone balance and bio-identical hormones.
Our female General Practitioner (Dr Salmond) can deal with the majority of women’s health and gynaecology issues including; routine PAP smears, irregular and heavy periods, hormone imbalance, menopause, infertility, premenstrual syndrome, PCOS, libido, pelvic pain, vaginal issues, and infections.
We can treat a wide range of hormone imbalances and deficiencies and offer bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for menopausal symptoms. We offer preconception health checks, which involve identifying health conditions and risk factors that could affect a woman or her unborn baby if she becomes pregnant.
