HA fillers are very safe, with side effects being rare and typically mild. However, please note:

It is crucial for any existing skin infections in the treatment area to be addressed before treatment to minimise the (very rare) risk of infection.

Dermal filler treatment is not advised for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
What to Expect During & After Your Treatment

During Treatment: Your doctor will discuss your concerns, advise on the best approach, suitable filler type, and cost. To ensure your comfort, numbing cream and/or ice will be used. Additionally, all our fillers are combined with a local anaesthetic, keeping pain minimal. The treatment itself is quick, typically taking less than 45 minutes.

After Treatment: You'll see results immediately! Side effects may include temporary bruising, redness, slight pain, and swelling at the injection site. Redness and swelling usually subside within a few days (though lip injections might experience these for slightly longer, up to three days). You can typically return to your daily activities right away.
