Treatment for Excessive Sweating (Hyperhidrosis)

We use FDA-approved injections for the treatment of severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive underarm sweating) in patients unable to obtain relief using antiperspirants.

Armpit treatment area for Hyperhidrosis

Areas that can be treated for hyperhidrosis:

  • Underarms

  • Hands

  • Feet

  • Face

What to expect during my treatment?

The treatment is injected into the skin of the armpits using a very fine needle. This blocks the nerves that usually tell the glands to produce excessive amounts of sweat.

When used to treat underarm excessive sweating, these treatments have been shown to result in an 82-87% decrease in sweating. Results start to be noticeable approximately 2 to 4 days after treatment, with the full effects usually noted within 2 weeks. Dryness typically lasts 4 to 12 months, but some studies have found it can last as long as 14 months.

Research has shown that treating excessive sweating of the armpits, hands, feet, head, and face, and other relatively small body areas (like under the breasts) with the treatment is safe and effective.
